It is yet not confirmed, that why Vikram lander suddenly stopped responding, but we Indians are proud of ISRO and congratulate the team of scientists for their effort.
Starting from Chandrayaan 2’s launch on 22 July 2019, till now, ISRO has inspired millions of people all over India and abroad.

Although it seems like Chandrayan 2 mission took an unexpected turn exactly at the last leg of its journey, We must not forget that there were two parts of this mission.
I. Lunar Orbiter
II. Moon Lander (Vikram Lander)
Even though ISRO lost contact with the Vikram lander minutes before the touchdown, The Lunar Orbiter is still fully functional and will continue collecting millions of data about the moon in future.
